Cover Hunter is a single-player shooting game where you'll find over 30 different levels, set in a variety different settings. In each one of the levels in the game, you basically just have to defeat all the enemies you come across as you go.
The controls in Cover Hunter are typical for the genre: with your left thumb, you can move your character, while you aim with the right. On the right side of the screen, you also have all the action buttons: shoot, reload, jump, and change weapons. To pick a weapon up off the ground, you just have to move over it.
You have a limited amount of time to complete each level in the game, but in reality, it'll never take you more than a few seconds to a minute, at most. The reason is that the artificial intelligence of your enemies is practically nonexistent. Plus, for some reason, you're constantly accompanied by an AI ally that will help you out.
Cover Hunter is a FPS with mediocre graphics, a mediocre selection of characters, and a general feeling of mediocrity. It doesn't offer anything especially new or surprising, but it does make for a way to pass the time while shooting enemies.
